A little of me

I’m Remzi, a Senior Engineer based in Reading, focused primarily on network architecture, connectivity, and the core operations that keep businesses reliably connected.

My path in tech started as an apprentice learning the fundamentals from the ground up by helping people solve everyday IT issues. Over the years, I’ve worked my way through field engineering into senior roles, naturally gravitating toward the intricate world of networking. That journey gives me a complete, end to end perspective. I know what an individual user needs to stay connected, and I know how to design, build, and maintain robust network infrastructure for an entire organization.

On the technical side, my focus is on keeping networks fast, secure, and rock solid whether that’s managing complex network operations, optimizing cloud connectivity and SaaS environments, or implementing security frameworks like Cyber Essentials. I take quiet pride in network stability. When the underlying connections are seamless, everything runs predictably, and teams can focus on what they do best.

At my core, I’m a problem solver who loves taking complex network topographies or messy environments and turning them into calm, dependable operations. Whether I'm collaborating with technical teams or business stakeholders, I believe in plain English keeping discussions clear, transparent, and jargon free.

Away from the screen, I’m usually exploring new destinations with my wife, keeping close tabs on every F1 race weekend, or diving into hands on hobbies that take strategy, patience, and precision. Whether that’s taking to the skies with drone photography, working on custom builds and strategy games, or keeping my giant Monstera thriving, I’ve always been drawn to how complex systems fit together on and off the track.
